Australian born music producer, dj and multi instrumentalist DIVI creates soulful music influenced by hip-hop, r&b soul and electro funk. His journey into music began when his older brother brought home an acoustic guitar, igniting a spark that would evolve into a fiery passion. Drawn to the instrument, DIVI immersed himself into honing his skills by dissecting tunes from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson. The diverse range of genres became his playground, and he eagerly collaborated with fellow music enthusiasts, capturing the magic of collective creativity and song writing.

Fast forward some years, DIVI emerged as a dynamic DJ. The energy of live performances became his new love, prompting him to grace the stages of Melbourne's best renowned nightclub venues and transforming music into an electrifying shared experience.

As his musical odyssey continued, DIVI Shifted his energy into production. A natural-born creator, he drew inspiration from a variety of artists, both past and present, including the likes of A Tribe Called Quest, J Dilla, Kaytranada, Anderson Paak, Marvin Gaye, FKJ, and Tom Misch. Endless hours in the studio became his canvas, allowing him to mold his distinctive sound—a fusion of head-bopping rhythms, velvety nostalgic guitar riffs, and the laid-back allure of West Coast melodies.  

 

Currently, DIVI is lending his production prowess to artist's around the world, helping them to release and share more music!
